During these 4 days of competition, the futures engineers will have the honor to represent their own universities by testing their technical, theorical and communicative knowledge during the most prestigious academic engineering competition of Quebec.
The industry of 4.0 is defined as the merging of virtual world, the digital design, and the management with real world products and objects to ensure a better control of resources and productions.
Our theme; Why don’t we go 4.0? emphasize this new era of smart manufacturing which especially caters to the future engineers.
Considered as the ‘’oldest industrial city of Canada’’, Trois-Rivières now stands out as an important center of the paper industry and hydroelectric generation, as well as it is the cradle of an important institute interested in the habitus and the entrepreneurial dynamism of SMES in the world (INRPME). La cité de Laviolette was awarded in 2019 by the Mérite Ovation municipal in the category ‘’Aménagement et développement durable’’ from the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ), it is making it a true pride for the SMES based in this area.
